Hello! My name is Mariam Christoforou and I am an International Student coming from Cyprus to Wales for my Bachelor's degree in Computer Animation.
Within those three stressful but wonderful years at university I have come to acquire skills in different aspects of animation such as body mechanics, Lip-sync, insect and animal animation.
Through the previsualisation stage I have come to gain good knowledge of directing, setting up cameras and researching for my preproduction work. It wasn't easy watching insects crawl around or even designing them but it was an experience.
Even though I had fun animating all these different animations (well most of them) I'd say that animation for VFX has to be the one I love the most, because bringing CG into real life is extraordinary!
