Hi, you found me! I'm Mark, a stop-motion animator who recently graduate from the University of South Wales. After studying animation in-depth for the past 3 years. It has become painfully clear to me, that I could live up to a 100, and still only be scratching the surface of the full capabilities of this amazing art form/craft. I have become obsessed with the idea of mastering my craft. I do however realize that this will take me the next 10, 20, 30+ years of my life. But i am fully prepared to wait, I'm only 20 after all.
Even from a young age I have always been amazed at the compelling power of great stories. “I do believe in the power of story. I believe that stories have an important role to play in the formation of human beings, that they can stimulate, amaze, and inspire their listeners.” – Hayao Miyazaki. I sincerely believe that stories can teach us to be more empathetic and compassionate.
In all of my future roles within the animation industry, I aim to be someone who helps and supports Directors / fellow collaborators achieve their creative visions, bringing them to full fruition.I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter of learning & discovering!
