Hi, I'm Shannon! I'd like to consider myself an easy-going person who specialises in Digital Illustration, Graphic Design, 2D Concept Art, Character and Environment Design from Maesteg, Wales, UK.
While I am primarily interested in becoming a Concept Artist - either independently or working for industry, I can see myself working in a variety of different fields if my artwork is of suitability. I draw Concept Art for backgrounds and especially characters, whether that would be for books, comics, games or animation, etc. I will be a soon graduate of 2D Animation and Stop Motion and I also have a BTEC LVL 3 Interactive Media degree which specialises in Graphic Design.
I love adapting new art styles and really enjoy the challenge of pushing myself out of my comfort zone. My past experience consists of working on a variety of student animations as a background artist, working on non-profit charity zines such as Gothstuck and The Furthest Ring: Crossover Stuck Zines.
Hopefully my showreel will introduce you to the preferred style I usually illustrate in, however I am not restricted to just that and I am capable of applying my skills learned during the course in adapting to a style of a brand or even a specific colour palette the client suggests. I have proficient use in Photoshop, Procreate and have had experience working with the Adobe Suite, Cel-action and video editing software during assignments.
